My first 'home brew' indie creation (created using GameMaker 7.0) is a simple score-based game. Twister has received the STAFF PICK award by the staff at YoYoGames. It shows they have good taste ;)
My second indie creation (created using GameMaker 7.0) is a simple multiple level platform puzzle game. I've also included a tutorial level to get you started. Snowy Joe has also received the STAFF PICK award by the staff at YoYoGames :)

Game Maker
A while back I discovered a FREE piece of software called 'GameMaker'. For those who don't know, it's an excellent piece of object-oriented drag-n-drop game creation software written by Mark Overmars. It's simple to use, and for any budding game creator, I'd highly recommend it. It's now published and supported by YoYoGames.  The standard edition of the software is FREE. The PRO edition is only $20 online. Buying the PRO edition gives you new features but more importantly, removes the game maker logos :) Do it now.
